Hello Colleagues
As the President of the Caribbean Regional Midwives Association I am extending a warm welcome to you to visit the beautiful country of Suriname for the International Confederation of Midwives’ 5th Regional conference to be held from 15th-17th July 2015 in Paramaribo.
The Caribbean Regional Midwives Association (CRMA) is a non-governmental, non-profit, regional midwifery association consisted of thirteen (13) Caribbean countries: Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname & Trinidad and Tobago. We seek to provide and promote high quality standards of midwifery care to meet the needs of women and their families in the Caribbean through: advocacy, education, research, practice and leadership.
The scientific sessions would increase your thirst for knowledge and therefore improve your practice. The various sessions that have been organized for the three days will address current issues that impact on midwifery practice within the region. The information that you gather at the educational sessions may be new to you or you may learn more about a topic with which you are already familiar. The impressive list of expert speakers carded to deliver presentations in their specific fields will enhance the practice of midwifery
This conference provides the opportunity for the Caribbean to host midwives from the region and to facilitate new friendships as well as meet new acquaintances.
Let us participate and make this conference a success.
